The clock is ticking for most, if not all, Power-5 bound quarterbacks as more spots fill up by the day. The no. 1 quarterback in the state, Jacolby Criswell, knows he's not immune to that clock and is starting to narrow his focus from his current 13 offers, and others.

"I basically narrowed my focus," Criswell said. "There are some other schools knocking but time is rolling for quarterbacks, so I don’t think I can wait much longer."

Though he'd be a good fit on the Hill at Arkansas, Chad Morris and his staff have their eyes set on a quarterback (or quarterbacks) from Texas for 2020. Because of that, Criswell could be headed to an SEC West opponent.

"I have three official visits I'm planning but not scheduled yet; Texas A&M, Alabama, and North Carolina," Criswell said.
