Arkansas has a pair of commitments from the state of Oklahoma in the Class of 2017 in Tulsa Union linebacker Kyrei Fisher, 6-2, 227, and Jenks cornerback Jordon Curtis, 6-0, 180. Arkansas is also in the mix for highly sought Muskogee safety Kamren Curl, 6-2, 180.
So, they hit on two of their seven offers in Oklahoma and may hit on three. That's a pretty good clip for a neighboring state and is already this staff's best showing in the Sooner State from a numbers standpoint - offers and commitments. How have recent efforts gone in Oklahoma under Bret Bielema, Bobby Petrino and Houston Nutt, and how do things look for the future in the Class of 2018?
Should there be more or less emphasis with Arkansas' neighbor to the west? It is a 30-minute drive to the Oklahoma border from Arkansas, Tulsa is just over 100 miles away, and the two states border one another for roughly 200 miles.
