It came out Wednesday night that Texas Tech athletic director Kirby Hocutt has decided to stay with the Red Raiders, despite an offer from the University of Arkansas to become the new athletic director in Fayetteville.

Hocutt was indeed the No. 1 target of Arkansas Chancellor Joesph E. Steinmetz.
