Arkansas' coaches hit the recruiting roads on Sunday, and one of their first stops was in Dallas (Texas) to see Bishop Dunne four-star cornerback Chevin Calloway.

Calloway, who has been atop the Hogs' most wanted list for several months, said the in-home visit with Arkansas coaches Robb Smith, Vernon Hargreaves and Paul Rhoads was a success.

"It was great," Calloway said. "We talked about a lot of things dealing with Arkansas and what they're trying to do. They talked about how my season is going, and really it was just getting a feel for all the coaches and know the type of guys they are. They were wanting to know more about me and my family.

"We were able to talk a lot about football and life, things outside of football, and I thought that was really cool. It was really comfortable, they're just nice guys. You can tell they really want me to come be a part of the program. My parents loved them."

Calloway, who is considered the No. 86 overall player in the nation according to Rivals.com, has already been on Arkansas on an unofficial visit and is now looking to make an official stop in Fayetteville.

"I was supposed to come up this next weekend, but we're going to state," he said. "We made it to the state title game so I won't be able to make it. But since I can't go this weekend, we're probably going next weekend."

The former Iowa commitment said he's focusing on four schools down the final stretch.

"Right now it's coming down to Arkansas, Ole Miss, Nebraska and Colorado," Calloway said.

Arkansas' 19 commitments comes in as the nation's No. 21 recruiting class for 2017, according to Rivals.
