I’ve been around most of this team for several years now, and I have to say I am catching a vibe right now that there is a little something different about them this year.

I can see it in the way the coaches talk about their players (body language and tone, not the words so much) and in the way the players go about their business in the open portion of practice. It’s almost like they’ve got a secret they can’t wait to tell me.

Maybe it’s an inside joke? I’ll admit, I’ve kind of forgotten what ‘special’ feels like the past six years through my mid-to-late 30s, but I am definitely feeling something about this team right now as I approach 40.
