Arkansas gained its first commitment for the 2019 class Tuesday morning when Monument (Colo.) Palmer Ridge quarterback Ty Evans pulled the trigger following a four-day stay in Fayetteville.
Evans, 6-2, 190, chose the Razorbacks over offers from Colorado, Colorado State, Northwestern and Kansas State. He received interest from Notre Dame, Oklahoma State, Wisconsin and others.
