Many new to the Chad Morris and Joe Craddock offensive system may be surprised to read that the tight end and fullback positions will have major roles in the new Arkansas offense.

Don’t think for one second that there is not a role for a fullback in this offense. In 2011 at Clemson, while Chad Diehl did not make a lot of receptions or carry the ball much, he was heavily involved in the offense and was on the field a great deal. Arkansas has two true fullbacks in Kendrick Jackson and Hayden Johnson.

And if Morris has a capable tight end (he will), that guy will play a major role in the offense also, despite what some may believe with an offense like this. The problem at SMU was simply that they arrived at SMU and there was not a single tight end on the roster due to the offense the previous staff ran.
