FAYETTEVILLE — On the first day of full contact, Arkansas caught a break with the weather.

It was overcast and temperatures were in the low-70s when the Razorbacks hit the practice fields shortly after 10 a.m. Thursday. There was a threat of rain and it even rained some earlier in the morning, but it was dry at the start of practice.

The first four periods - or about 20 minutes - of the day were open to the media. Here are a few observations from that time…
