The four open periods of Tuesday's practice just wrapped up. Here are the key observations: It was frigid cold and windy.

-The four open periods consisted of 'tackle chase,' where the quarterbacks throw to a receiver and two defenders defend and pursue him, 'goal line work,' and three periods of individual drills. They did not do the circuit where they go from station to station like they did last time, nor did they work on punt.
