Save the overall newness of the Chad Morris era, the biggest storyline of the spring for the Arkansas Razorbacks is the wide-open quarterback battle.

For the first time since 2013, the job is up for grabs. The 'competition' five years ago between Brandon Allen and Brandon Mitchell wasn’t much of a battle at all and only lasted the spring. The next competition in 2016 pitted Austin Allen against the field, and it was over in a couple of weeks.
