Chad Morris and the Razorbacks offered a fifth instate prospect for 2019 Sunday night when they spoke to Camden (Ark.) Fairview junior offensive lineman Stacey Wilkins over the phone.

Wilkins, 6-7, 282, already had offers from Memphis, Louisiana Tech, Louisiana Monroe, Texas State and Arkansas State, but said his new one from the Hogs is one he grew up dreaming about.

The offer meant so much to him that he almost committed on the spot.

"I feel kind of pumped right now," Wilkins said. "I grew up wanting to be a Razorback. Me and my dad talked about committing but he doesn't want me to do that until I go up for a visit in February."

Wilkins, who visited Fayetteville for Arkansas' game against Missouri on November 24, is a talented two-way lineman at Fairview, but the Razorbacks like him on offense.

"I talked to the whole offensive staff, Coach (Joe) Craddock and them," Wilkins said. "They said they really liked my film. Coach (Dustin) Fry said he was very impressed with it.

"Right now they want me at offensive tackle, but if they want me to play somewhere else I'm fine with that."

With Wilkins' frame and athleticism, there's a chance he could blossom into a very heavily-recruited prospect as a senior.

"Oklahoma State has been sending me mail," he said. "Right now it's kind of dead, but coach said in the spring I'll have more coaches down here."

In addition to Wilkins, Arkansas has also offered instate juniors Darius Thomas, Hudson Henry, Treylon Burks and Jadon Jackson.
