Arkansas landed another key addition to its 2018 class on Friday, so this is an edited version of the Report Card:
QUARTERBACK: B+
Needed: 1-2
Got: 2
With only three current scholarship quarterbacks on campus, Arkansas can justify taking two in this year's class. Most programs want at least four scholarship guys at any given time, and there's always the chance of one deciding to transfer out after spring drills.
Arkansas' former staff made Connor Noland of Greenwood (Ark.) a top priority early on. He committed on July 20, 2016 and was incredibly active in helping the Razorbacks lure other targets to Fayetteville. Noland is a two-sport star who is also committed to play baseball for the Hogs, assuming he's not given a ridiculous amount of money to jump straight to the pros.
When Chad Morris arrived in early December, he wasted no time in targeting a second signal caller for this class in John Stephen Jones of Dallas (Texas) Highland Park. Both Noland and Jones were state title winners who put up incredible numbers in their respective high school careers.
