Arkansas scored three ninth-inning runs without a hit on their way to a 5-2 victory over the San Diego State Aztecs late Saturday night.

The Razorbacks forced three SDSU pitching changes in the top of the ninth after four walks and a hit by pitch. Arkansas had 2 errors and only 3 total hits but still managed to put San Diego State away for their fifth win of the year.

Isaiah Campbell tied his career high with 7 strikeouts, but Matt Cronin got the win after retiring every batter he faced in his four innings on the mound.

San Diego State knocked three extra-base hits but only hit 1 for 11 with runners on base. The host-team Aztecs dropped to 4-2 on the season with the loss.

Here's how the Razorbacks got Dave Van Horn his 600th win at Arkansas:

THE WINNING INNINGS

Shortstop Jax Biggers jumped on the Aztecs immediately with a leadoff double to start the game. Biggers later scored on a sacrifice fly from Dominic Fletcher, making it 1-0 in Arkansas' favor.

SDSU's Denz'l Chapman started off the bottom of the third with a leadoff triple. The next batter, David Hensley, hit a ground ball to Biggers, but the throw was over the head of the first baseman, scoring Chapman and tying the game 1-1.

In the sixth, right fielder Eric Cole hit a massive solo home run to right field, putting the Hogs up 2-1. The no-doubter was Cole's second homer of the year. The Aztec's hottest hitter, Chase Calabuig, hit a leadoff double then advanced to third after another Arkansas throwing error. An RBI single scored Calabuig to tie the game yet again, 2-2, in the bottom of the sixth.

The Razorbacks had Jax Biggers on third base with no outs in the top of the eighth but failed to do anything with it, leaving the bases loaded.

A couple of walks put runners on second and third for Arkansas to start the ninth. Casey Martin's bunt led to a throwing error, scoring Jordan McFarland and putting the Hogs up 3-2. Biggers came through again with an RBI sacrifice fly to make it 4-2 Arkansas. Later on, freshman Heston Kjerstad walked in a run with the bases loaded, adding Arkansas' final run, 5-2.

Razorback pitcher Matt Cronin retired the side in the bottom of the ninth, giving Arkansas the victory.

STAT OF THE GAME

Arkansas managed to bring nine different Razorbacks up to bat in the top of the ninth without recording a single hit. The Hogs were walked four times and hit by one pitch in that inning alone.

With runners in scoring position, the Razorbacks were 0 for 11 and stranded 10 runners. In the last two games, Arkansas has hit 0 for 19 with RISP and stranded 18 total baserunners.

The only Arkansas hits came from the top two hitters in the lineup (Biggers and Cole). The 3 through 9 hitters went 0 for 20 with 6 strikeouts.
