Perkinston (Miss.) Gulf Coast Community College 4-star wide receiver Brandon Martin has committed to Arkansas a day before he was planning to officially sign with the school of his choice.

Martin, 6-4, 220, now says he will sign with the Razorbacks on Thursday.

Martin is regarded by many as the No. 1 junior college wide receiver prospect in the nation.. He is a 5.9-rated 4-star prospect on Rivals.com, and he also took official visits to LSU and Arizona State.

He signed with LSU out of high school in 2015 and is originally from Dallas' Prime Prep Academy. He also has scholarship offers out of JUCO from Auburn, Florida, Louisville and Mississippi State, in addition to the Razorbacks, Sun Devils and LSU Tigers.

He has three years to play three, making him a redshirt sophomore when the 2017 season begins. He will sign with Arkansas on Thursday.

He will join teammate Jonathan Nance, who is also a receiver. Nance signed with the Razorbacks on Wednesday.
