FAYETTEVILLE - The Arkansas Razorbacks took care of business in a not very attractive way against Kent State on Saturday with a 28-6 victory over the Golden Flashes at Reynolds Razorback Stadium.

Arkansas out-gained the Golden Flashes by 108 total yards. Kent State gained just 26 yards on the ground compared to the Hogs' 172 rushing yards, which was up from the 105 yards they gained in Week 1 against Western Carolina.

Quarterback KJ Jefferson was 13-of-19 passing with 136 yards and two scores through the air. He was relied on heavily in the run game during the second half and he totaled 48 rushing yards on 13 carries.

The Razorback defense had an impressive outing with seven sacks, 11 tackles for loss and one interception returned for a touchdown by linebacker Antonio Grier on his first play as a Razorback.
