When I outlined what I thought Arkansas would do to wear down TCU and then beat them in the fourth quarter, I felt they would line up with a fullback and pound away at their undersized linebackers, softening them up. I envisioned trap plays and wham plays and iso plays right up A and B gap...I saw them getting to the outside with their shiftier backs and using talented tight ends and tackles to wear away at their undersized ends. That apparently wasn’t the game plan at all.

Instead, I saw junior Kendrick Jackson, who is Arkansas’ battering ram fullback, play three snaps in the 28-7 loss to TCU. He came in with approximately 7:30 to play in the second quarter, with 8:12 to play in the third on a 3-yard run by Whaley and then with 7:34 to play in the fourth quarter on an obvious passing down of 3rd-and-20.
