THE GOOD
It's hard to find much good in this game for the Razorbacks, outside of maybe the game's weather and the video boards. But David Williams did look good as Arkansas' leading tailback. He had 10 carries for 65 yards including a 26-yard rush in the second half.
THE BAD
Arkansas' start couldn't have gone much worse. The Razorbacks started the game on their own 10 yard line after a hold on the kickoff. Jared Cornelius dropped a pass on first down, and on third and long Johnny Gibson got beat for a strip-sack on Austin Allen. The Razorbacks recovered and punted it away to the TCU 45, but the Frogs used an eight-play drive to punch it in and take an early 7-0 lead.
Overall, the defense actually played pretty well against a high-powered TCU offense. The third down defense, however, was awful. Arkansas gave up 10 of 14 third down attempts including 7 of 9 in the first half alone. The Hogs' defense also allowed scores in four of TCU's five trips to the red zone.
