Arkansas was coming off a 31-7 “borderline erotic” win over Texas in the AdvoCare Texas Bowl, and everybody was talking about how Arkansas was trending up, up, up. Three days after Bielema criticized Ohio State for only having one more ranked team left versus Arkansas having eight, the Hogs fell to the Rockets in Little Rock.
2016: Auburn 56, Arkansas 3
This game was really the start of the collapse for Bielema at Arkansas. Nobody had just taken it to them since his first season at Arkansas, a season most were willing to forgive. These two programs have exchanged verbal jabs, but they were primarily led by Bielema. It was like the guy who mouths off getting knocked out.
