Hogs look within for early jump on A&M

Arkansas will wear Dallas Cowboys-inspired uniforms for the annual Southwest Classic in Arlington's AT&T Stadium next weekend against Texas A&M.

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was elected into the NFL Hall of Fame this year. He was a member of Arkansas' 1964 national championship team and has made several generous donations to the University of Arkansas, including most recently the Jerry and Gene Jones Family Student-Athlete Success Center.

“What do you give a man who’s had everything and now is going into the Pro Football Hall of Fame," Arkansas Director of Athletics Jeff Long stated on the school's official website. “When I saw this idea, I thought there it is."

The Razorbacks have not beaten the Aggies (2-1) since 2011 under former head coach Bobby Petrino. Arkansas has lost five in-a-row since then.

Both teams have been disappointing to start the season as A&M gave up a 34-point lead at UCLA the opening weekend and the Hogs fell to TCU at home 28-7 in Week 2.

Saturday's game will kick off at 11 a.m. (CDT).
