Pregame Notes
Head coach Dave Van Horn switched back to his Game 1 lineup, with Zack Gregory playing left field and Matt Goodheart batting in the 2-hole, while Tennessee is using the same lineup as Saturday.
Both lineups are listed below.
B-5th: Tennessee 1, Arkansas 0
With the bases loaded and one out, Max Ferguson hit a slow chopper to short and the only play was at first. It's an RBI ground out to put Tennessee on top.
T-7th: Arkansas 1, Tennessee 1
Brady Slavens hit a blooper into center field that fell and kind of bounced away from the Tennessee outfielders. He turned it into a hustle double and then advance to third on a wild pitch. That allowed him to score the tying run on a shallow fly ball to center by Robert Moore.
T-8th: Arkansas 2, Tennessee 1
Casey Opitz drew a leadoff walk to finally chase Tennessee starter Blade Tidwell. A sacrifice bunt by Jalen Battles moved him into scoring position and then Zack Gregory drove him in with an RBI double.
T-9th: Arkansas 3, Tennessee 1
Brady Slavens legged out an infield single to start the inning, moved to second on a ground out by Christian Franklin and then scored on a single by Robert Moore to give the Razorbacks an insurance run.
B-9th: Arkansas 3, Tennessee 2
Luc Lipcius hit a leadoff double and eventually scored on a two-out RBI single by Connor Pavolony.
FINAL - Arkansas 3, Tennessee 2
