Razorbacks hit crucial week of recruiting
Arkansas landed an important commitment for the Class of 2017 on Thursday when heavily-recruited safety Kamren Curl went public with his college decision.
Curl, 6-2, 180, chose the Razorbacks over Oklahoma, Texas, TCU, Nebraska, Baylor and Ole Miss at a 4 p.m. ceremony at his high school in Muskogee (Okla.). He is Arkansas' 22nd addition for the 2017 haul.
After thanking his friends, family and coaches, Curl pulled a switch-a-roo by first grabbing an Oklahoma hat before swapping it with a Razorback hat.
"It was just being comfortable with everything," Curl said. I was comfortable with the coaches. They're a pretty good football team and I went on the visit and just felt comfortable there. They play in the SEC and the best college football is played there. I want to play with the best and be the best.
