Razorback Retweets on Monday - permissible through NCAA mandate
Mike Anderson and the Razorback basketball team will travel to Spain on Saturday to play four exhibition games over 10 days before returning home on Aug. 16.
The NCAA allows programs to make trips of this nature once every four years, and this year’s trip includes stops in the cities of Madrid, Valencia and Barcelona.
"I think this trip is really going to help a lot," redshirt senior Dusty Hannahs stated in a release. "Having the chance to spend 10 straight days on the road with your teammates will be very beneficial for us moving forward. This is a special group we have this year.”
"This team is really coming together," transfer junior Daryl Macon stated. "We do everything together, even off the court. This trip is a great chance to keep getting closer and bonding together as a team.”
“I have never been outside of the country but I think it is going to be a great experience for me and the team," junior Jaylen Barford stated. "Our goal is to go win some games.”
